These terms govern your use of WyzBooks, a desktop accounting application published by Wyzaerd Consulting, Inc. ("we", "us"). By purchasing or using WyzBooks, you agree to these terms.
When you purchase WyzBooks, you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive license to install and use the software on one (1) Mac computer. The license does not expire. You may continue using the version you purchased indefinitely, with or without an active support plan.
You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, reverse-engineer, or modify the software. You may make backup copies for personal archival purposes.
The optional annual Support & Updates plan ($99/year) provides email support and access to major version upgrades. This plan is entirely optional. Canceling it does not affect your license or your ability to use the software. You may re-subscribe at any time.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If WyzBooks is not the right fit, email us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund, no questions asked. After 30 days, purchases are non-refundable.
WyzBooks stores all data locally on your Mac. We do not host, access, or have any control over your financial data. You are solely responsible for backing up your .wyzbooks files. We are not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failure, accidental deletion, or any other cause.
WyzBooks is a bookkeeping tool, not a substitute for professional accounting advice. While we test the software extensively (1,124 automated tests covering accounting logic, API operations, and report generation), we do not guarantee that the software is free of errors. You should verify important financial figures with a qualified accountant.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wyzaerd Consulting, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of WyzBooks. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the software license.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Vermont, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
